Stewards Comments

DANCE WORKS momentarily steadied approaching the 100m. DELTA BAY bumped and unbalanced shortly after the start. WATSONS BAY bumped shortly after the start. DESTINO when questioned, rider explained that it had been his intention to settle the gelding mid-field, however he had commenced well and raced in a forward position eventually leading. Under these circumstances he elected to allow the gelding to stride. GENERAL CONFUSION bumped shortly after the start. Had difficulty in obtaining a clear passage until leaving the 200m. EUCLASSY THING returned having cast its near hind plate during running. GOLDY JUNIOR impeded shortly after the start. Crowded and steadied approaching the 100m. LAW RAIN returned having cast its off fore plate during running.
