Stewards Comments

SAFFRON FIRE blundered from heels passing the 600m. Rider dropped his whip passing the 200m. DARNTIME commenced awkwardly. Returned having cast its near fore plate during running. GIVEN VISION raced wide from the 500m. JEAN restrained passing the 600m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned mildly lame in the off fore. Trainer advised that he would assess the mare's condition over the ensuing days and advise Stewards of his future intentions. CLASSOFHEROWN bumped and steadied over the concluding stages. SPECIAL EFFECT carried inwards and steadied near the 600m. BLUFF POINT raced wide throughout. ALTIVO blocked for clear running in the straight and when attempting to take a marginal run passing the 150m was restrained and was then bumped over the concluding stages.
