Stewards Comments

EARS LOPPY when questioned regarding the riding tactics of the gelding today, rider explained that he had been instructed to race off the pace if possible, however it had commenced extremely well and had then raced keenly in front. Under these circumstances he elected to allow the gelding to stride. AELSTREET raced wide from the 500m. SILVER AMBUSH held up from on straightening until approaching the 100m. SPICE TRADE slow into stride. CYCLONIC FORCE held up from the 400m until the 150m.
