Stewards Comments

TIDAL STORM rider advised that the gelding was inclined to lay outwards in the straight. HE'S SMOKIN' momentarily impeded for clear running passing the 200m. Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages. LOVELY LUCY following the unplaced performance, rider advised that the mare was reluctant to stride out in the early stages and was under pressure leaving the 800m and in his opinion may not have been suited by the firm track surface. Trainer agreed with these comments and advised that it was now his intention to restrict the mare's racing to the Albany track. Trainer further undertook not to start the mare for a period of at least three weeks. TITCHERMAN lay inwards in the straight. Raced in restricted room over the final 100m. WESTERN ZED commenced awkwardly and lost ground.
