Stewards Comments

BROOME TIME slow into stride. GROUP MEMORY held up approaching the 400m and raced in restricted room shortly after straightening. HENRY DE HORSE lay inwards under pressure over the final stages. SECRET ENIGMA held tight near the 100m and was then impeded. STRIKEN steadied getting its head in the air near the 800m. GO BUSTER raced keenly in the early and middle stages and wide throughout. Lay outwards on straightening. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the gelding had failed to settle throughout running and lay outwards on straightening and consequently did not finish the race off as expected. He further advised that the gelding was better suited when able to race with cover enabling it to settle. POLY OLLIE raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages and steadied when bumped near the 800m and when continuing to race ungenerously was steadied near the 600m. Returned with a minor abrasion to the near hind. PROUD FALCON steadied and as a result shifted outwards passing the 800m.
