COSTLY CALL a post race Veterinary examination of the gelding which performed poorly revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the gelding had over- raced in the early and middle stages and had let down in the straight and failed to run on although she felt it was impeded for a short distance for a clear run on straightening. Trainer advised that the gelding had undergone a full Veterinary examination and was found to have swelling to its left eye. ALTIVO raced wide from the 600m. IVANDRAGO jumped awkwardly. Blocked for a clear run for the majority of the straight. PROMISING slow into stride. TYRANNICAL dwelt at the start, throwing its head up and losing a significant amount of ground. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
