Stewards Comments

ILIKEITLIKETHAT eased down out of the event near the 300m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be suffering from Cardiac Arrhythmia. Trainer was advised that the mare will require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to trialling and will have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again. Trainer advised that the mare would now be retired. CASHED UP JOHNNY raced wide throughout. Rider was of the opinion that the gelding did not appreciate racing twice in three days.
