Stewards Comments

CARLTON STREET commenced awkwardly and bumped. CENTURY FLYER raced wide from the 600m. TERADA bumped at the start. Steadied when racing keenly near the 800m. QUEST FOR MAK raced wide throughout. ZENTUSI slow into stride. Steadied from heels near the 800m. SOLITARY HERO shifted outwards on jumping making contact with its barrier and lost ground. Eased from heels when over-racing near the 800m. Returned having cast its off hind plate during running. CLASSICAL MINX restrained from heels near the 800m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. FORTIS pulled hard in the early and middle stages and strode onto the heels of another runner approaching the 800m and blundered. Due to the gelding's racing manner, Trainer advised that it is now his intention to remove the blinkers and vary the bridle and start it over a lesser distance to improve its racing manner. Trainer was advised that he is to engage a senior rider for the gelding's future racing. PEARLESQUE steadied when racing keenly passing the 800m.
