Stewards Comments

BOW ROAD commenced awkwardly. DASH INCREDIBLE steadied at the 900m. Steadied when racing in restricted room at the 800m. BERMAISE commenced awkwardly. PRINCE OF SANDS held tight approaching the 800m. STEVES PICK when questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the gelding failed to settle and over-raced throughout running and consequently was unable to finish the race off due to this and the increased distance. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be slow to recover. Trainer undertook to monitor the gelding's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly, however she would start the gelding over a decreased distance at its next race start. OKAY GEOFF raced wide throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell.
