Stewards Comments

SWAHILI Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Steadied from heels approaching the 800m. RON'S GEM Commenced awkwardly. BIZET Had a tendency to lay outwards throughout. When questioned, Jockey indicated that he was disappointed with the performance as the gelding had enjoyed a favourable position in running, although it had not travelled strongly at any stage, but had failed to respond to his urgings in the straight. Trainer was of a similar view and advised that she would be applying blinkers at its next start to improve the gelding's concentration. COOLISM Raced wide from the 800m.
