Stewards Comments

DEMELZA'S WINGS Held up on straightening and when disappointed for a clear run passing the 300m was angled outwards across heels to obtain a clear run. MR NICOFFSKI Bumped when racing between runners near the 100m. NEED LUCK Slow into stride. Impeded passing the 200m and raced in restricted room from thereon. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that he was instructed to take the gelding outwards from the 800m to improve his position, however he was unable to do this due to having other runners to his outside through this section of the race. Shifted outwards and bumped at the 600m. MURPHY'S CREEK Slow into stride. Lay outwards throughout and raced wide from the 600m. Bumped at the 550m.
