ELECTRIC GENERAL Held tight near the 1100m. Lay outwards and steadied passing the 1000m. Lay inwards passing the 200m with the rider using his whip in the left hand from thereon. DESTINO When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the gelding made a respiratory noise passing the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. CHOPIN Commenced awkwardly. Raced ungenerously in the early stages. MISSION CONTROL Blocked for clear running from on straightening until near the 50m. KING CONSOLE Fractious prior to the start and commenced awkwardly. OVIATE Held tight and raced keenly in the early stages. Returned with an abrasion to the off hock.
