Stewards Comments

BOTO VERMELHO Mis-strode near the 200m. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that her mount was forced to work hard in running to hold its position outside the leader and as a result had failed to finish the race off as anticipated. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to have returned with an elevated heart rate. Trainer undertook to monitor the filly's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. LADY LADETTE Lay inwards from the 300m and then crowded inwards near the 250m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer's representative advised that he would have the filly undergo a full Veterinary examination and report any findings to the Stewards. CHARMOSS Held up for clear running passing the 200m and as a result crowded and steadied near the 150m. ATHENA'S ME MUM Slow into stride. JESSANDDAH MISS Rider was dislodged behind the barriers and after being examined by medical officers was declared fit to fulfil his riding engagement. CLASSICAL SNOW Crowded leaving the 200m.
