Stewards Comments

MOTION PICTURES Buffeted for some distance shortly after the start. Raced wide from the 500m. LAURADANE Rider fumbled his whip at the 200m. WHY SHE LEFT Bumped shortly after the start. SWEET SERENITY Raced greenly in the early and middle stages. Trainer later advised that on return to the stables the filly was found to be shin sore and would now be sent for a spell. BOTO VERMELHO Rider advised that the filly felt uncomfortable in its action from the 600m. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have returned with an elevated heart rate and was slow to recover. Trainer advised that he would monitor the filly's recovery and advise Stewards of his future intentions. DIGITAL BLACKOUT Held up approaching the 400m and was steadied for several strides from the heels of another runner.
