Stewards Comments

UMA PARK Following the disappointing performance, Trainer advised that it was now his intention to increase the gelding's work load and start it over an decreased distance at its next start. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with signs of being struck on the near hind boot by another runner. COCKEYED BOB Lay inwards in the straight. ABSOLUTE PLEASURE When questioned regarding the performance, Trainer undertook to monitor the filly's recovery and advise Stewards of any abnormalities. MISS TAHITIAN Slow into stride and raced ungenerously for a majority of the event. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to have returned with an elevated heart rate and slow to recover. Trainer will be contacted to discuss the filly's racing manner, recovery and his future intentions.
