Stewards Comments

SIR MONTGOMERY Crowded and as a result dipped shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the early stages. Blocked for clear running for the majority of the straight. SNOW SYMPHONY Commenced awkwardly. BATTLE ACE Raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 300m. CHEQUE MATE Raced keenly in the early stages and steadied as a result getting its head in the air near the 1800m. Bumped near the 1700m and again near the 250m. GENERAL TOMAS Held up from on straightening until taken outwards near the 150m. FINX Slow into stride. GETTIN' AMONGST IT Raced wide for the majority of the event. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with a minor abrasion to the off hind leg. WULLKURAKA Race wide for the majority of the event. Bumped outwards near the 1700m. Lay inwards in the straight and as a result bumped with another runner near the 250m.
