Stewards Comments

CANARDLY MISS Raced wide from the 500m. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that the mare had travelled comfortably in running but when taken wide from the 500m to improve, did not respond to his riding and failed to finish off in the straight as anticipated. A post race Veterinary examination of the mare revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that the mare would undergo Veterinary tests in the ensuing days and he would advise the Stewards of any abnormalities. Trainer further advised that the mare would now be sent for a spell. Returned having cast its near fore plate during running. VAIN STRIKE Raced wide from the 800m. Had a tendency to lay outwards over the final 200m. ATTADALE Had a tendency to lay outwards in running and in particular on straightening. PUERTO GALERA Over-raced in running. TIVATION Raced keenly in the early stages getting its head in the air. WARBURG Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide from the 600m. WOULD YOU BELIEVE Crowded at the start.
