Stewards Comments

LAURADANE Impeded for clear running in the early stages of the straight. ABSOLUTE PLEASURE Blocked for clear running in the straight. TIME TO CLIMB When questioned regarding the performance, rider advised that she initially had to work hard to lead as instructed. Although her mount had travelled kindly in running, the filly was under pressure on straightening and did not finish the race off as anticipated. A post race Veterinary examination of the filly revealed no abnormalities. Trainer expressed disappointment in the performance and advised that he would monitor the filly's recovery in the ensuing days and advise Stewards of his intentions. EASI CUMMINS Rider reported that the gelding raced fiercely in the early and middle stages failing to settle and as a result raced wide throughout. Trainer stated that she would place a Norton bit on the gelding at its next start. DIGITAL BLACKOUT Steadied outwards passing the 600m. DREAMAWAY Rider reported the filly lay outwards in running and as a result was steadied passing the 600m. A post race veterinary examination of the filly revealed no abnormalities. PRINCESS FINALE Slow into stride. Restrained, losing ground passing the 600m. RIGHT HONOURABLE Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
