Stewards Comments

KARDINIA PARK Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the colt to be lame in the near fore. Trainer was advised that the colt would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. Trainer undertook to monitor the colt's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. DEFY ME Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. EXCELORADA Commenced awkwardly and bumped. GO JORJ Shifted inwards and bumped with another runner shortly after the start. MASCHINO Slow into stride. Blundered after making contact with a riderless horse at the 1100m and dislodged its rider. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. SWIFT PREDATOR Bumped at the start. FRIARDAY Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Leaving the 1100m clipped heels, blundered and dislodged its rider. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a self inflicted laceration to the inside of the near fore pastern. KIM ABILITY Bumped with another runner shortly after the start and then commenced to race greenly for some distance.
