ON THE CARPET Tightened and steadied shortly after the start. Raced wide from the 600m. UNDERLINE Raced ungenerously getting its head in the air on a number of occasions in the early and middle stages. DON'T TELL PAT Commenced awkwardly, got its head in the air and shortly after the start was steadied. THE ENTOURAGE Rider was shown a replay of the early stages of the event and was advised to exercise more caution when shifting inwards shortly after the start in future. LEANONUS Lay inwards over the final 100m with the rider using the whip in his left hand. OUR OL' FELLA Restrained from heels between the 900m and the 800m. Restrained from the heels of a tiring runner near the 200m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with a slightly elevated heart rate. SACRED CROWN Rider advised that the gelding felt uncomfortable in its action in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned mildly lame in the near fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. EM GEE BROWN Crowded and steadied near the 900m and then raced ungenerously. GO BUSTER Raced ungenerously in the early stages and was steadied from heels near the 900m. Lay outwards through the middle stages. MARUNOUCHI Tightened and steadied shortly after the start. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with minor abrasions to the near hind cannon. MEGEM'S BOY Became fractious in the mounting enclosure and dislodged its rider who took an apparent harmless fall.
