LEIDENWIN Steadied near the 800m. Lay inwards in the straight. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance Trainer advised that the mare may not have appreciated racing in consecutive weeks and would now be sent for a spell. LORD AIRLIE A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to have returned showing signs of distress. Trainer advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell.
