Stewards Comments

HUSSATION Race keenly in the early stages. LEXDEN CAT Rider accidentally dropped his whip near the 300m. JACKSON ROCKS Over-raced in the early and middle stages. DOODELICIOUS Slow into stride. WHEELS OF FIRE When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that the gelding was under pressure leaving the 600m and failed to finish the race off as anticipated in the straight. Trainer advised that in his opinion the gelding may not have appreciated the step up in distance of today's race when racing in consecutive weeks and it is now his intention to race it over a decreased distance at its next start. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. FOREVERCLEVER Commenced to compound prior to straightening. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the near fore leg. Trainer representative was advised that the filly would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. IHTSADAME Commenced awkwardly.
