Stewards Comments

MARDELLA FLYER Rider advised that the gelding never travelled at any stage of the race and in her opinion was not suited by the distance of today's event. Trainer advised that he would now nominate the gelding to race over an increased distance at its next start. MCFLIRTS DELIGHT Rider sought and was granted permission to ride the mare 0.5kg over its allotted weight. Lay outwards considerably from the 800m and lost ground. Returned having cast both hind and its off fore plates during running. Trainer was advised to continue to engage the services of a senior rider for the mare's future engagements. He further advised that he would consider a gear change in an effort to have the mare race more tractably in future.
