Stewards Comments

KAISER CROWN Jumped awkwardly, losing ground. NEW ABODE Held up for clear running for the majority of the straight. JAGABOUT Over-raced in the early and middle stages. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. Trainer undertook not to start the gelding in a race for a period of three weeks. LE FREQ Over-raced in the early and middle stages and dipped just prior to KING'S TRIBUTE Threw its head in the air as the start was effected. Veered inwards and bumped at the start. ZIDANSKY Held up for clear running for the majority of the straight. RICH AND WILD Raced wide throughout. MONDO GRASS Bumped shortly after the start. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
