Stewards Comments

MISTY AFFAIR Returned having bled from both nostrils during running. Trainer was advised that the gelding would now suffer the disabilities of ARR.53A. LAVISHED Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Bumped with another runner at the 200m and again at the 100m and thereafter was crowded and blocked for room over the final 75m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned with an elevated heart rate and slow to recover. Rider reported that his mount had raced keenly in the early and middle stages and had failed to finish the race off as anticipated. TUSCAN RULER Threw its head in the air on jumping. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Bumped with another runner at the 200m and again at the 100m. VAINTRAIN Slow to begin. Impeded momentarily for clear running near the 75m. RICH END Slow to begin and raced wide throughout. SPLIT STEP Commenced awkwardly and raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
