Stewards Comments

MABEL GRACE When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, Trainer stated that in his opinion the mare was unsuited by the increased distance of today's event as it was unable to finish the race off. He further advised that the mare would be sent for a spell and when resuming would be restricted to races over a lesser distance. DOYOUDARE Raced wide throughout. SENSE OF PURPOSE Raced wide from the 500m. DANELEZ Bumped at the start. HAWAS Bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout. HEART ACHE Held up from on straightening until near the 200m. Steadied over the final stages. JARA Following the poor performance Trainer advised that the gelding would now be retired.
