Stewards Comments

METALMAN Lay inwards in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the forelegs. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. DARKRIVER DOLL Following the poor performance, Trainer was advised that the filly would not be permitted to race at Saturday Metropolitan meetings until it shows an improvement in its form. ROCKET REIGN Fractious in the barriers prior to the start and reared on jumping causing its rider to become extremely unbalanced and consequently took no competitive part in the race. Due to the filly's barrier manner, Trainer was advised that it would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again. STOMPIN Dislodged its rider, who took an apparent harmless fall, following the race when it baulked from the Clerk of the Course's horse and a subsequent Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
