Stewards Comments

REVY JAY Raced in restricted room and bumped in the early stages of the straight. DANISH CONQUERER Slow to begin and then raced wide from the 600m. ETERNAL POWER Held up on straightening. COBBLE LANE Raced wide in the early stages. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be slow to recover. Returned having cast its off hind plate and having shifted its near hind plate. Trainer later advised that in his opinion the gelding was unsuited to today's track conditions and it would now be sent for a spell. ONE COOL QUEEN Lay inwards in the straight. PAMPANITO JACK Rider advised that the gelding hung inwards from the 600m and failed to handle today's track conditions. Bumped shortly after straightening. OTTUMWA Blocked on straightening and was then unable to improve until the 200m when carried back by a tiring runner and shortly after was flicked over the nose by the whip of another rider. PROUD HERO Commenced awkwardly and raced wide throughout.
