Stewards Comments

MASTER SIN Crowded and steadied passing the winning post on the first occasion. GUNNER BURNS Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip to his left hand. ACUTE BRUTE Slow into stride. RANCHER'S BOY Dwelt at the start. Bore outwards under pressure in the straight. GRANDIOSITY Slow into stride. Rider advised that due to the mare being slow to begin it had raced further back in the field than anticipated. BRASS POPSTAR A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that consideration would be given to retiring the gelding. Trainer was advised that the gelding would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again.
