Stewards Comments

FIERY MONARCH Rider reported that his mount did not stride out freely in running. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. MY GIRL KATE Raced wide throughout. Returned having bled from both nostrils during running. Trainer was advised that the mare would now suffer the disabilities of ARR.53A. MY BEST BUDDY Raced wide throughout. WINTERSTORM Blocked for clear running over the concluding stages. KLASY SPY Bumped and crowded shortly after the start. CUP DAY DIVA Commenced awkwardly and was unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the straight. FLYING BAILS Blocked continuously for clear running in the straight. RENUMANI Raced keenly passing the 800m getting its head in the air.
