Stewards Comments

BUCCELLATI Crowded shortly after the start. GONDORFF Raced ungenerously between the 1100m and the 600m. PLAYING GOD Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Raced wide on straightening. ALL FRIARED UP Raced wide from the 800m. When questioned regarding the poor performance, rider advised that the mare was under pressure prior to the 600m and failed to respond to his riding thereafter. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned with Cardiac Arrhythmia. Trainer was advised that the mare will require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness including an ECG prior to trialling and will have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again. Trainer advised that the mare would now be sent for a spell.
