Stewards Comments

COSTLY CALL Held up for clear running from the 400m until the 200m. TWILIGHT HERO Bumped near the 225m. Crowded when tiring near the 75m. DAKA EXPRESS Fractious in the barriers prior to the start and reared prior to the start and was subsequently removed and after undergoing a Veterinary examination was passed fit to start. Following the race Trainer sought and was granted permission to remove the blinkers from the gelding for future starts in an attempt to improve its barrier manner. EASI CUMMINS Raced wide throughout. Lay inwards passing the 75m. NIGHT MAN Fractious in the barriers prior to the start and was removed and then underwent a Veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Due to the gelding's barrier manner and its subsequent performance, Trainer was advised that the gelding would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again. DEEJAR Raced keenly in the early stages. HULA ROCK Blocked for clear running from the 400m and bumped near the 225m after being steadied when improving onto heels and became unbalanced for a short distance and was then further held up until the 75m.
