Stewards Comments

GALINBA BLAST Steadied and threw its head at the 1000m. KNIGHT FURY Raced wide throughout. WESTRIVER KEVYDONN Raced fiercely in the early and middle stages throwing its head. MASCHINO Slow into stride. Held up for clear running on straightening. HI KILMORE Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Returned with its tongue over the bit. Trainer advised that he would now race the gelding in a tongue-tie for future starts. HOLLISTER Raced wide from the 800m. TIMES ARE CHANGING Underwent a Veterinary examination prior to the race and was passed fit to start. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in both forelegs. Trainer was advised that the gelding will require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to trialling and will have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again.
