Stewards Comments

SASS'N'PING Rider reported that his saddle had shifted on straightening and his mount had had a tendency to lay inwards in the straight. Rider changed the whip into his left hand near the 100m. Trainer advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. BARELY A CABERNET After commencing awkwardly bumped with another runner on several occasions leaving the 700m and as a result commenced to over-race. CHAMBORD Impeded near the 50m. FINE PRINCE Bumped and carried outwards near the 1100m. FIXIT Bumped and carried outwards near the 1100m. Steadied from heels near the 250m. Trainer later advised that the gelding was found to be shin sore and would now be sent for a spell. IHTS BUSTER Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Shifted ground outwards abruptly when tested with the whip near the 250m. Trainer advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. O'VATICANO Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. PINS OF DARKNESS Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and wide in the early stages. ROYAL BRITANNIA Bumped with another runner on a number of occasions leaving the 1100m and then commenced to over-race.
