Stewards Comments

HIDE THE LOOT Raced wide from the 500m. Steadied over the final stages when close to heels. MEGEM'S BOY Slow into stride. DANTE'S OAK Fractious in the barriers prior to the start and lunged forward before settling. Rider reported that in his opinion the gelding had got its tongue back during running. Trainer advised that she would place a tongue-tie on the gelding for future racing. JAY JAY MAKSTER Returned having cast its off fore plate during running. MCSCAR Commenced awkwardly unbalancing its rider and lost ground. BARAKEY was withdrawn by the Stewards after the gelding reared in its barrier before breaking through the back gate and after undergoing a Veterinary examination was found to be showing signs of lameness in the near hind. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again.
