Stewards Comments

MA MA MACHINE Momentarily steadied approaching the 800m. FOR YOUR EYES ONLY Just prior to a start the mare became fractious and attempted to break out under its barrier. The mare became wedged under the front of the gates and eventually broke free and galloped a full circuit of the course before being recaptured and was subsequently withdrawn by the Stewards acting on vetinary advice. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned with bruising and a laceration to the off shoulder and bruising to the near shoulder. WERD Commenced extremely awkwardly nearly dislodging its rider and veered inwards bumping heavily. MORANT After being placed in its barrier the gelding lunged forward striking its head and after being removed and undergoing a Veterinary examination was passed fit to start. JAY JAY MAKSTER Scrambled on jumping and then bumped heavily. Returned having cast its near fore plate during running.
