Stewards Comments

IMPATIENT TIMES Steadied and raced ungenerously near the 600m. FREETIME Dipped on jumping. CELEBRATION GIRL Raced in restricted room when improving to the inside of another runner near the 150m. Rider accidentally dropped his whip near the 100m. JAY JAY MAKSTER Crowded shortly after the start. When questioned regarding the poor performance, rider explained that the gelding had got back further in the field than anticipated however it was disappointing when it failed to run on in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer's representative undertook to monitor the gelding's recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. NONAME CITY Over-raced and lay outwards in the early and middle stages and was steadied from heels near the 800m then again approaching the 400m. CLASSY NUGGET Raced wide on straightening. GENERAL ALBERT Raced wide from the 700m.
