Stewards Comments

GRANDSTAND Lay inwards over the concluding stages. BELLA'S FRATELLO Carried inwards, crowded for room and steadied near the 1600m. Stumbled and mis-strode becoming unbalanced near the 700m. As a result the rider lost the use of his left iron and regained it a short distance following this incident. Returned with an abrasion to the near fore leg. Trainer subsequently advised that the gelding had recovered well upon return to the stables and at this stage he would not start it in a race for a period of two weeks. NAVARONE Held up for clear running from on straightening until taken outwards near the 150m. NINO AMANTE Carried outwards at the 700m and raced wide from thereon. REVISIONARY Steadied at the 1600m. INCENTIVE SCHEME Raced wide from the 800m. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that his mount had travelled comfortably in running but was under pressure on straightening and failed to respond to his riding in the straight. Trainer advised that he will discuss the gelding's immediate future with connections and advise Stewards accordingly. MR FRECKLE Lay inwards in the straight. TIME TO FRONT Tightened for room and steadied near the 1600m. MYSTERY DANE Raced wide throughout. MISS MUNCHALOT Bumped and unbalanced at the 1600m.
