LIE IN WAIT Raced fiercely in the early and middle stages when being steadied by its rider. DANTE'S DIAMOND Lay outwards shortly after straightening and bumped. IMPATIENT TIMES When questioned regarding the reason for the gelding leading today, Trainer advised that he had intended for the gelding to be ridden on the pace at its most recent starts however at its last race start at Ascot on 12 November 2011 the gelding had commenced awkwardly and veered inwards and consequently raced in a mid-field position. He further advised that his instructions had not changed in this regard and that the gelding would continue to be ridden on the pace when possible. SUNSILKIN Over-raced in the early and middle stages and raced wide throughout. Bumped shortly after straightening. CAVALLO PAZZO Raced wide throughout. THE CORPORATION Threw its head on jumping and raced keenly for a short distance. APTODETI Slow into stride and crowded shortly after. GENERAL CONFUSION Raced wide on straightening. COBBLE LANE Raced in restricted room and bumped shortly after straightening. Impeded and steadied passing the 200m. EUCLASSY THING Raced wide throughout. ZIP CODE Rider explained that the gelding was beaten for early pace and consequently got back further in the field than anticipated. Blocked for clear running over the final 75m.
