Stewards Comments

FOO FOO THE SNOO When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider expressed disappointment in that his mount failed to run on in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised he would remove the blinkers from the filly and race it over an increased distance at its next start. Trainer further advised he would monitor the filly's recovery on return to the stable and advise Stewards of any abnormalities. PRINCESS DEIRDRE Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. AMPED Raced keenly in the early and middle stages when leading. BLUABLE Crowded at the start. Raced wide from the 500m. JUST MAUD Impeded for clear running near the 150m and was angled outwards. KYM KYM KABOOM A post race Veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be suffering from synchronous diaphragmatic flutter (thumps). MISS MOTOWN Impeded behind the heels of a tiring runner in the early stages of the straight. LAUDER A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer's representative advised that the filly would now be sent for a spell. DA VERRAZZANO Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Blocked for clear running from on straightening until leaving the 150m.
