Stewards Comments

POWER PRINCESS Commenced awkwardly and struck the barrier on jumping and lost ground. Near the 900m crowded and eased and then raced ungenerously for a short distance. Taken outwards across heels passing the 150m to obtain clear running. HIGHLY TOXIC Raced fiercely and steadied passing the 800m. LATORIA Rider reported that the mare became unbalanced near the 450m and was of the opinion that it may have struck itself at this stage and that it then did not travel strongly thereafter. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have cast its off fore plate during running resulting in a minor injury to the hoof wall.
