FIGHTING THE BLUES Raced wide throughout. NIRIMICH Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. DUE PARA Dwelt at the start and lost considerable ground. MARCOTE Held up for clear running from on straightening and then disappointed for a clear passage when attempting to improve near the 200m and again near the 100m. QUININE The Veterinary Officer advised that the gelding was showing signs of having choked down in running. Trainer advised of his intention to include a tongue tie to the gelding's gear for its next race start. SEQUALO SYSTEM Commenced awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and wide throughout.
