Stewards Comments

ARCTIC OCEAN Kicked by another runner behind the barriers and after undergoing a Veterinary examination was passed fit to start. Raced keenly in the early stages. Raced wide from the 500m. RISKTAKER A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned with Cardiac Arrhythmia. Trainer was advised that the mare will require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness including an ECG prior to trialling and will have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again. WINEHORSE Brushed the running rail near the 1200m. PURE EDITION Improved onto the heels of a tiring runner near the 150m and was impeded for a short distance before being taken outwards and then raced in restricted room near the 100m before being flicked over the head by the whip of another rider. ATHENA'S ME MUM Threw its head at the start. Steadied when close to the heels of another runner near the 1400m and then raced ungenerously for a short distance. Held up for clear running from the 250m until the 100m. DIGITAL BLACKOUT Got its head down in the barriers prior to the start.
