Stewards Comments

HIBERNIAN Slow into stride. Raced wide from the 400m when improving its position. A SPECIAL TIME Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. BAROSSA RED Raced wide form the 600m. DUGITE Held up for clear running for the majority of the straight. IT WON'T BE LONG When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, Trainer advised Stewards that the gelding will now be sent for a spell. MANAGING DIRECTOR Raced wide throughout. NIKE HEIR Raced wide throughout. RICH SUCCESS Trainer later advised that on return to the stables the gelding was found to have back soreness and would now undergo chiropractic treatment and Veterinary tests would also be conducted and any further abnormalities would be advised to the Stewards. Trainer further advised that the gelding would now be sent for a lengthy spell. THE PURPLE PARROT Held up from on straightening until leaving the 200m.
