Stewards Comments

ARGENT BIJOU Lay outwards under pressure in the straight. HAVANA CITY Commenced awkwardly and bumped. BELL'S HONOUR Raced wide from the 900m. Bumped at the start. ARGENTORO A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. FAIR FIGHT When questioned regarding the improved performance, rider advised that in her opinion the mare had benefited from the addition of blinkers and the removal of the noseband and consequently had been able to race in a more prominent position today than at its previous two starts and therefore finished the race off strongly. Trainer agreed with these comments and further advised that in her opinion that the mare had been suited to the drop back in distance of today's event. WALK BY MY SIDE Crowded shortly after the start. Rider reported that the mare lay outwards in running. NO TIME TO FLIRT Raced wide throughout. Slow into stride.
