Stewards Comments

FUDDLE DEE DUDDLE Bumped leaving the 300m. HELL OF A FELLA Reacted to the fractious behaviour of another runner and broke through the barriers and after galloping a short distance was recaptured and underwent a Veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. Crowded and bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide throughout. Lay inwards on straightening. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with an abrasion to the near hind coronet. INNA SLURRY Commenced awkwardly and shifted outwards. KOROLENKO When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the gelding had been unsettled in its preliminary and behind the barriers and then fractious in the gates prior to the start and this may have impacted on its performance. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. MAKE YOUR MOVE Crowded and bumped at the start. Returned having cast its near fore plate during running. NUNCA TE RINDAS Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Angled inwards near the 50m to secure clear running. Returned with a self-inflicted wound to the near fore. QUICK DRAW Raced keenly in the early stages. Lay inwards from the 200m with the rider changing the whip to his left hand passing the 100m. ZEDSPIEL Shifted outwards quickly and bumped another runner leaving the 300m.
