Stewards Comments

ALDIDHAVABROTHER Crowded and steadied near the 1000m. EGYPTIAN LOVA Held up on straightening until the 150m. FACE OF MERCY Raced wide throughout. TOSS'N'SPIN Over-raced in the early and middle stages. WESTERN TRADER A post race veterinary examination of the poorly performed gelding revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that he would have the gelding undergo a lung wash and advise Stewards of any abnormalities. SWEET DANE Rider was reminded of his obligations to ensure he is fully clear when crossing other runners near the 1100m in future. THE SLEEPING GIANT Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. WALK BY MY SIDE Crowded shortly after the start. FLYING BAILS When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer advised that he attributed this to the removing the blinkers from the gelding today.
