Stewards Comments

JANUARY BOYS Commenced awkwardly. CLASSY FLIRT When questioned regarding the disappointing performance rider advised that the gelding never travelled strongly throughout the race. Trainer agreed with the comments and further stated that the poor performance may have been contributed by the removal of the blinkers. Trainer sought and was granted permission to reinstate the blinkers for future starts. COMFORTABLY Raced wide from the 400m. NEW ABODE Raced wide throughout. STAR OF CASSY Restrained from heels passing the 850m. BOMBARD Checked when improving onto heels passing the 900m. BRAT Steadied from heels passing the 1000m.
