Stewards Comments

DIRTY FLIRTY Bumped rounding the home turn and then Held up for clear running for the majority of the straight. ROSE OF MAY Impeded when yielding ground passing the 200m. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that the mare was under pressure leaving the 500m which in her opinion she attributed to its heavy weight impost in today's event. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be showing signs of a mild case of tying up. Trainer advised that it is his intention to increase the mare's workload prior to its next race start. AKHENHOME Raced wide throughout. Lay inwards in the straight. DOUBLE SWIRL Raced wide from the 600m and bumped on straightening. ROCKY'S BROTHER Held up for clear running from on straightening until taken outwards near the 100m.
