Stewards Comments

NIGHT MAN Rider reported that the gelding had felt uncomfortable in running . A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with an elevated heart rate and to be slow to recover. Trainer was of the opinion that the gelding may have choked down and will initiate a gear change to prevent a re-occurrence of this behaviour. JEST ON TIME Steadied from heels leaving the 700m. TWIN CITY SOLDIER Commenced awkwardly and bumped. DANTE'S LAST Raced keenly in the early stages. MIDNIGHT WHISPERS Crowded and bumped at the start.
